Samantha enters her first season at Saint Vincent. A graduate of Canon McMillan, she had a solid career on the soccer field, earning four letters and serving as team captain for two season, while she was also an honorable mention Elite Eleven pick. Sam also enjoyed a fine softball career at Canon Mac, earning all-conference accolades as well as her team's MVP award, and she intends on playing softball for the Lady Bearcats in the spring. Born 1-25-91, she is the daughter of Todd and Anna Shumaker, and is majoring in Chemistry.
