The Lady Bearcats were defeated 8-2 by the College of Wooster in the opening day of the Marietta College Invitational Tournament.

Leanna Seminsky and Alex Shasko scored the Lady Bearcat goals, with the former coming in the game's 41st minute and the latter on a penalty kick one minute into the second half.

It wasn't enough to overcome Wooster, as the Fighting Scots opened the game with four goals in the first 34 minutes.  The goals by Seminsky and Shasko cut the SVC deficit in half, before Wooster ended the game with four more unanswered goals.

The Lady Bearcats were outshot 30-7 on the afternoon, with goalie Kirstie Mills tallying 10 saves for SVC.

Saint Vincent (0-2) will look to regroup on Sunday morning, facing Bluffton University at 9am in the second day of the Marietta tournament.
