The visiting Washington & Jefferson Presidents defeated the Lady Bearcats 1-0 on the chilly Saint Vincent turf. W&J owned a 21-5 advantage in shots for the game, but the Presidents were unable to solve the SVC defense until the 68th minute, when Elizabeth Bendick capitalized on a Lady Bearcat turnover to score the lone goal of the contest. Saint Vincent goalie Kirstie Mills was strong despite the loss, making 11 saves, including a number from point blank range. The Presidents' offense pressed from the start, at one point owning a 13-0 advantage in shots, while the W&J defense was equally as strong, not allowing an SVC shot until the game's 60th minute.
