NCAA Division I Saint Francis University defeated the Lady Bearcats by a score of 8-1 on the road in Loretto, PA.

SVC opened the day with a pair of close doubles matches.  In the #1 spot, Alexis Cup and Rebecca Cenkner lost a close set by a score of 8-6.

Nicole Peer and Jessa Paruch, playing the #3 doubles match, also fell in a close set by an identical score.

In singles play, Peer picked up the team's lone win, dropping the first set 6-3 before winning the second, 6-4.  She then won the tiebreaker by a 10-5 margin.

Saint Vincent is now 6-8 on the season, and will face Chatham University on Monday at 3:30PM.  The match is a make-up date from earlier in the season.  Please note that while it was originally slated as a home match for SVC, it will now be held at Chatham.
