The Lady Bearcats improved to 2-0 on the young season with an 8-1 road win over Bethany College.

In singles play, SVC was a perfect 6-0, with all wins coming via straight sets.  Alexis Cup won 6-0, 6-0, Emily Morris 6-1, 6-1, Brittany Vignero 6-1, 6-3, Nicole Peer 6-1, 6-1, Rebecca Cenkner 6-1, 6-1, and Megan Mahoney 6-1, 6-1.

In doubles action, Peer picked up her second win of the afternoon, teaming with Jessa Paruch for an 8-1 triumph.  The other victorious doubles tandem for the Lady Bearcats was that of Chantal Mitchell and Laura Wohar.  Each playing in their first collegiate match, the duo won easily, 8-1.

The Lady Bearcats will return to action on Wednesday afternoon, hosting Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Geneva College beginning at 4pm at the SVC courts.
