The Lady Bearcats returned to the Allegheny College Tournament as defending champions, but were unable to repeat, dropping two matches on the day.

Host Allegheny College downed SVC by a score of 9-0 to open the day. In doubles, the #2 team of Brittany Vignero and Rebecca Cenkner played well, losing a close set, 8-6.

Later in the day, Division II Mercyhurst College also shut out Saint Vincent.

SVC is now 3-2 on the season, and will be on the road in West Virginia at West Liberty State on Tuesday.
