  • On-Campus Living

Saint Vincent College takes great care to ensure that suitable on-campus housing accommodations are available for all students. Living in the residence halls is a two-semester commitment. First-year students who reside more than 50 miles from SVC must live on campus. Upperclass students are encouraged to continue residing in the residence halls for the duration of their academic studies, but may elect to live off-campus. Please visit the Residence Halls and Policies pages for more information. Students with special needs should contact the Dean of Students to discuss appropriate housing options.

    Housing Accommodations at SVC

Approximately 1100 of the 1600 student body resides on-campus in six residence halls. Each residence hall offers varying amenities and is open to different segments of our student population. All first-year and transfer residential students are assigned housing by the Dean of Students. Upperclass residential students participate in a housing lottery selection process in April. Students with special needs are highly encouraged to speak with the Dean of Students to determine suitable housing arrangements.

All residence halls include lounge areas, a community television and microwave, laundry facilities, vending machines, and smoke detectors. Each student is provided with a bed frame and mattress, dresser, desk, desk chair, and closet or wardrobe.
