Medaille University Transfer Students

Welcome, Mavericks!

Times of transition are hard, and finding out that you’ll need to make the transition to a new school has probably left you and the rest of the Medaille community feeling unsure about what’s next. At Saint Vincent, we’re committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.

As a small, liberal arts college, Saint Vincent isn’t too different from all the things you love about Medaille: our mutual goal is to enhance access to a high-quality, liberal arts education. We’re a community focused on your success and providing you with the tools you need to exceed your professional goals; live a purposeful, meaningful life; and be a lifelong learner.

Click here to learn more about how Saint Vincent can help you with this transition from Dr. John Delaney, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Academic Dean.

Our Promise to You

Saint Vincent College guarantees admission for any Medaille University student with a GPA of 2.00 or higher*, and if you’re an international student, we’ll waive English Language Proficiency Scores.

Saint Vincent College promises that your direct cost to attend SVC will not exceed the direct cost you were paying at Medaille. In fact, it may be less. You will receive a generous financial aid package including merit scholarships, need-based aid and any state (for PA residents) and federal aid for which you qualify. Students choosing to live on campus may receive an additional Resident Grant. For full aid consideration, please add Saint Vincent to your FAFSA as soon as possible. Our FAFSA code is 003368.

At Saint Vincent, you have a space to live and learn nestled in the heart of the picturesque Laurel Highlands—while being close enough to Downtown Pittsburgh that you get the best of best of both worlds. Whether you like to see the sparkling lights of a bustling city or the glimmering stars in a rural sky, you’ll find it’s easy to see both at Saint Vincent.

But, we’re a little biased, so come see our beautiful campus for yourself!
