The Saint Vincent College Players will present three performances of its fall play, “A Fine Monster You Are! A Creepy-Crawly Comedy” by Monk Ferris on Friday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 27, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 28, at 2 p.m.

“Saint Vincent College invites you to another wild and hilarious Monk Ferris play!” director Greggory Brandt commented. “Sweet old Emily Holbrook is interviewing sweet young Suzette Larson for a job as secretary companion. She quietly explains that her ancient family mansion has only one window and that window is barred; that there is to be a séance that night; and that in back of the parlor drapes is a century-old stone wall with a heavy oaken door littered with every known kind of lock plus a massive wooden crossbar all because there might be a misshapen creature of elemental horror sealed behind it! What happens to Suzette, to her semi-stalwart boyfriend, her former college roommate, the old housekeeper, the creepy doctor and the utterly incredible medium who likes to work fast but likes overtime even better is beyond description. The lunacy extends to a mind-boggling climax that delights audiences of all ages.”

The students in the cast will include Matthew Wojtechko, a junior computer and information science major from Crescent, who will play a Guardian and Troll; Cameron Brennan, a senior communication major from East Earl, who will play Dr. Jonathan; Emily Joseph, a senior criminology major from Brooklyn, New York, who will play Kyla; Arielle Kreuzwieser, a sophomore graphic design major from Canfield, Ohio, who will play Flax; Eddie Kunz, a senior international business major from Cranberry Township, who will play Corky; Moira Sullivan, a sophomore anthropology major from Waldorf, Maryland, who will play Agatha; Maria Fetty, a junior history education major from Pittsburgh (15228), who will play Suzette; and Caroline Nelson, a junior psychology major from Jefferson, Maryland, who will play Emily.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under and can be purchased at the box office beginning an hour before each show. Every seat is general admission.
