About Ms. Christina Andrae
Christina Andrae earned a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree (music major, sociology minor) summa cum laude from Westminster College (PA). During her two years of graduate study at Penn State, she was also a graduate teaching assistant in flute. Christina joined the Saint Vincent College community in 2006 as a full time member of the admission and financial aid staff, and is currently Associate Director of Admission & Financial Aid. In 2011 she also became an adjunct faculty member in the SVC music department as a flute instructor. Christina is also a freelance musician, performing for weddings, church services, concerts, etc. Her past flute teachers include Dr. Eleanor Duncan Armstrong, David Tessmer, and Rosalind Stack. Christina is a member of the National Flute Association, Pittsburgh Flute Club, and Friday Evening Music Club of Greensburg.
