Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center will host Prepare for Export Success on Thursday, Nov. 7, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Saint Vincent College. There is no fee to attend.

Food Export-Northeast and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture will discuss why U.S. food suppliers should export and what it takes for a company to become export ready.

Exports of consumer food products are growing three times faster than sales in the U.S. This seminar will provide an overview of the opportunities available around the globe and what’s involved with learning to export.

Speaker Dennis Lynch, Food Export Helpline Counselor, will provide a glimpse into why food exporting remains a bright spot in today’s economy.

Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center is part of a statewide system of university-based economic development organizations, whose mission is to provide high quality education and consulting to entrepreneurs, to help them start and grow their businesses in the competitive global economy. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited. To register or to obtain additional information the program, contact the Saint Vincent College SBDC at 724-537-4572.
