Saint Vincent College held its 167th annual commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 11 in the Robert S. Carey Student Center Gymnasium on the campus of Saint Vincent College, Latrobe (Westmoreland County).
More than 300 graduates received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in a traditional public ceremony marking the completion of their studies at Saint Vincent College.
Cardinal Donald Wuerl, archbishop of Washington, was the principal speaker and was honored by Saint Vincent College president Brother Norman Hipps with an honorary doctor of theology degree. James E. Rohr, executive chairman and former chief executive officer of the PNC Financial Services Group, was also honored with the conferral of an honorary doctor of humane letters degree.
