Saint Vincent College students learn "first what is necessary, then what is useful, and finally what is beautiful and will contribute to their refinement." (Archabbot Boniface Wimmer, O.S.B., founder)

Saint Vincent College is an educational community rooted in the tradition of the Catholic faith, the heritage of Benedictine monasticism, and the love of values inherent in the liberal approach to life and learning.

The Core Curriculum presents all students with a broadly based education that provides a general body of knowledge in the humanities and fine arts, social sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics, an interdisciplinary view of that knowledge base, and the skills to increase that general body of knowledge throughout their lives.
