Dr. Daniel Vanden Berk is an observational astronomer, mostly studying the extragalactic universe. He has worked with many observatories on Earth and in space, including the Hubble Space Telescope, NASA Swift Observatory, NASA GALEX Observatory, and the Sloan Digital Sky Survey. Dr. Vanden Berk also explores the relationship between faith and science as a member of the Society of Catholic Scientists.
