Jacob Boros joined the political science faculty in 2024. Prior to returning to Saint Vincent, he held academic positions at the James Madison Program at Princeton University, the School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership at Arizona State University, and Benedictine College. At Saint Vincent, he leads the Aurelius Scholars of the Great Books honors pathway and is the faculty advisor for the Student Government Association.
Jacob lives in Latrobe with his wife, Teresa. He greatly enjoys maps, flags, geocaching, and all things geographic.

Research Interests
Jacob’s scholarly interests include the history and theory of international relations, American political thought, and environmental politics and sustainability. His curiosity about geography and the way human beings interact both with each other and with the physical environment motivates much of his work.
