Saint Vincent College extends commitment deadline to June 1

by Public Relations | April 29, 2025

LATROBE, PA – Saint Vincent College announced today that it will extend this year’s commitment deadline for new first-year students from May 1, 2025, to June 1, 2025.

The extension is intended to provide sufficient time for graduating high school seniors and their families to manage the complexities of the college enrollment process.

“We have heard from many students and families that they need more time to make this important decision,” said Dr. Dana Winters, C’06, vice president for enrollment and student success at Saint Vincent College. “Extending our deadline was a deliberate choice to provide more time for important conversations and ensure every student makes the best decision for their future.”

As part of the deadline extension, Saint Vincent College will no longer recognize National College Decision Day on May 1.

Incoming students and families will still be able to submit their deposit as soon as they make an enrollment decision. Earlier deposits allow students to secure a spot in the incoming class of 2029, reserve a space for summer orientation and receive their schedules for the fall semester earlier.
