LATROBE, PA – Saint Vincent College has announced Juliana Tambellini as the 2025 recipient of the Matt Russo Memorial Scholarship. The award honors the memory of Matt Russo, C 13, a cherished member of the Saint Vincent community and PreK-4 education major who was known for his kindness, humor, leadership and Bearcat pride. Matt left an indelible impact on all who knew him, and this scholarship is presented annually to a junior education major who exemplifies his compassion, leadership and commitment to serving others.
Juliana Tambellini, a junior Early Childhood Education major from Gibsonia, PA, has been recognized for her outstanding contributions both in and out of the classroom. She is an active member of Alpha Lambda Delta, Kappa Delta Pi (Education Honor Society), Bearcat Buddies and the STEM Education Club. In addition, she is deeply involved in Club Fred, where she works with underprivileged children in the Latrobe community.
The scholarship, which includes a $1,000 award, was presented by last year's recipient, Lauren Brennan, during the Education Department's End-of-Year Celebration on May 2, 2025.
