LATROBE, PA — Saint Vincent College has been selected as a 2026 Hidden Gem in a recent announcement by College Raptor, an online college planning tool.
SVC is ranked No. 15 out of 63 Hidden Gem institutions in the Mid-East US region.
Also known as the Mid-Atlantic region, the Mid-East region has several standout Hidden Gem colleges and universities in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC.
Saint Vincent is ranked No. 11 on the Top Hidden Gem Colleges in Pennsylvania list and ranks No. 63 nationally out of 285 Hidden Gem colleges.
The Hidden Gems rankings spotlight schools that combine excellence with attainability, according to College Raptor. The honored institutions typically have fewer than 7,000 undergraduate students, fewer than 5,000 applications annually and an acceptance rate above 10%.
In College Raptor’s 2026 Best Colleges – Overall Ranking list, SVC ranks No. 312 out of 500 institutions nationwide. Saint Vincent ranks No. 28 out of 117 on the 2026 Best Colleges in Pennsylvania list. By region, SVC ranks No. 86 out of 343 institutions on the 2026 Best Colleges in the Mid-East list.
On the 2026 Best Colleges – Overall Ranking – Roman Catholic list, SVC is No. 47 out of 178 in the country, and No. 6 in the state out of 24 institutions ranked.
