LATROBE, PA – Saint Vincent Summer Theatre (SVST) will deliver three performances of “Songs of the Season II: A Christmas Concert,” scheduled to hit the stage from Dec. 5-7.
“I am so happy to welcome guests back this year after three wonderful productions this summer as we celebrate the sounds of the season with many beautiful holiday songs,” said Greggory Brandt, producing artistic director for SVST. “The nights are long this time of year, and it’s natural to turn inward and reflect on the difficulties of the recent past. Let’s move forward and let the light of the season fill our hearts with love, joy and giving.”
“The Songs of the Season II: A Christmas Concert,” which is the final production of SVST’s 55th season, features performers Anthony Massetto, C’19, Leah Prestogeorge, Nick Spangler and Joanna Young.

The production, split into two acts, features a variety of holiday favorites, some performed as solos and duets, and others with the full complement of the band, company and ensemble.
The band includes Eric Barchiesi on piano, Teddy DiSanti on bass and Lindsey Lamagna on drums.
The production team features Leslie Hanson as choreographer; Barchiesi as musical director; Jesse Madden as technical director; Joe Clark as sound designer; Chris McCallister as lighting designer; Brandt and Chad Castillo as set designers; Castillo, Downs and Gibson as set builders; Becky Ziegler as set decorator; Kate Lipscomb, a senior data science major from Cranberry Township, as production stage manager; Will Toret, a sophomore studying social studies middle grade education from Murrysville, as assistant stage manager; and Brandt as producer and business manager.
“As we move forward into our 56th season this coming year, I am very humbled with the faith you place in me when continuing the rich history and tradition that is Saint Vincent Summer Theatre,” Brandt said. “I will continue to be grateful and sincerely hope you derive as much pleasure from our productions as we do from creating them for you.”
All shows this season are directed by Brandt, who is also assistant professor of theater at Saint Vincent College, and will take place in the Performing Arts Center, located within the Robert S. Carey Student Center on campus.
Evening performances of “Songs of the Season II: A Christmas Concert” are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6, at 7:30 p.m., in addition to a matinee performance Sunday, Dec. 7, at 2 p.m.
