LATROBE, PA – Allie Trimm and Sam Gravitte of Broadway’s “Wicked” are set to perform during the annual Saint Vincent Summer Theatre (SVST) Gala at 6 p.m. Friday, April 17, in the Fred M. Rogers Center on the Saint Vincent College campus.
Celebrating the 56th season of the SVST, the Gala will include a variety of chef-prepared hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and the unveiling of the 2026 SVST shows.
“This annual Gala is so very exciting. To have two current Broadway performers from an iconic and popular musical such as ‘Wicked’ is simply astounding and should not be missed,” said Greggory Brandt, director of theater operations and producing artistic director of the SVST. “This will be an unbelievable evening, and all the donations raised fully support the Saint Vincent Summer Theatre as well as the SVC performing arts.”
Accompanied by the Eric Barchiesi Trio, Gravitte and Trimm will perform songs from their most recent Broadway productions and other classic selections. Following the performances, guests and friends of SVST will be able to dance the night away inside the Rogers Center.
A Broadway actress and vocalist, Trimm currently stars as Glinda in “Wicked” on Broadway. She originated the role of Patrice in Jason Robert Brown's musical “13” on Broadway and starred as Kim MacAfee opposite John Stamos in the Broadway revival of “Bye Bye Birdie.” She can also be heard in the vocal ensemble in the film “Wicked: For Good.”
Notable off-Broadway and regional credits include the title role in the musical “Violet” at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and singing alongside Jeremy Jordan and Laura Benanti in “Parade” at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in Manhattan.
Gravitte appeared as Fiyero in the Broadway production of “Wicked,” reopening the show after the Pandemic theatre hiatus. Other shows to his credit include off-Broadway performances in “White Rose: The Musical” and “Lyrics & Lyricists.” He has a variety of regional credits, including “Starstruck,” “Sweeney Todd” and “Almost Famous.”
As a vocalist, Gravitte has headlined shows at 92nd Street Y and Birdland Jazz Club, both in Manhattan, the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra and the Westport Country Playhouse in Connecticut.
Attendees are encouraged to dress in themed attire. Tickets are $150 per person and can be purchased online or by calling 724-805-2177.
