LATROBE, PA – Saint Vincent College has been named a College of Distinction for the fourth consecutive year, showcasing its commitment to engaged, experiential education while guided by the 10 Hallmarks of Benedictine Education.
Saint Vincent earned College of Distinction status for 2026-27, both overall and in several subcategories: Catholic Colleges; Pennsylvania Colleges; Career Development; and Business, Undergraduate Career Education and Engineering Programs.
“This recognition by Colleges of Distinction is a tribute to the good work and success of our students, alumni and faculty,” said Father Paul Taylor, O.S.B., C’87, S’91, PhD, president of Saint Vincent College. “Our students, through critical thinking and discipline, set ambitious goals and pursue excellence for successful careers and meaningful lives.”
Colleges of Distinction recognizes schools that deliver on four overarching distinctions: engaged students, great teaching, successful outcomes and vibrant communities. It conducts in-depth research and direct interviews with each institution, selecting only those whose campuses reflect a genuine, student-first philosophy.
