LATROBE, PA – Saint Vincent College and Archabbey were honored earlier this year with a host of 2025 Community Choice Awards presented by the Latrobe Bulletin newspaper.
Among the Champion Awards (gold), Saint Vincent was recognized in the College/University category, having previously won in 2024. Saint Vincent Summer Theatre won in the Live Theater Group category, having previously earned a Star Award (silver) in 2024.
The Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica was recognized in the Church category, repeating its 2024 honor. The Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica Gift Shop earned a Champion Award in the Gift Store category, while the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve was tops in the Scenic Spot category.
Among the Star Awards, the Bearcat B.E.S.T. Transition Program was honored in the Alternative Education category, while the College was recognized in the Community Workplace (over 30 employees) category.
The Foster and Muriel McCarl Coverlet Gallery, housed inside the Fred M. Rogers Center on campus, was recognized in the Art Gallery category.
Archabbey Baked Goods earned recognition in the Bagels and Bakery categories, while Dr. Michael Urick, C’04, dean of the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government, was honored in the Local Author category.
