Saint Vincent earns 2026 Latrobe Bulletin Community Choice Awards

LATROBE, PA – Saint Vincent College, Seminary and Archabbey were honored earlier this year with a variety of 2026 Community Choice Awards presented by the Latrobe Bulletin newspaper.

Among the Champion Awards (gold), Saint Vincent was recognized in the College/University category, having previously won in 2025 and 2024. Saint Vincent Summer Theatre won in the Live Theater Group category, having previously earned a Champion Award in 2025 and Star Award (silver) in 2024.

The Saint Vincent Archabbey Basilica was recognized in the Church category, repeating its 2024 and 2025 honors, while the Basilica Gift Shop earned a Champion Award in the Gift Store category, repeating its 2025 recognition.

Archabbey Baked Goods earned recognition in the Bagels category with a Champion Award, improving on its Star honor in 2025, while the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve took the top spot in the Walking Trail category.

Dr. Michael Urick, C’04, dean of the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government, was honored with a Champion Award in the Local Author category. He earned a Star Award in 2025.

Among the Star Awards for 2026, the Foster and Muriel McCarl Coverlet Gallery, housed inside the Fred M. Rogers Center on campus, was recognized in the Art Gallery category, while the Saint Vincent Gristmill earned a Star Award for locally made product.

Saint Vincent College, Seminary and Archabbey achieved recognition with a Star Award in the Community Workplace (over 30 employees) category, repeating the 2025 honor.
