Special Interest Clubs

African Diaspora Club: This club cultivates a strong and unified community that celebrates the richness, diversity, and resilience of African American students. It fosters cultural pride, promotes mutual understanding, and empowers individuals through shared experiences, education, and advocacy. The goal is to create a space where all voices are heard and embraced, allowing members to feel safe and comfortable to truly embrace themselves.

American Sign Language Club: The ASL club aims to teach American Sign Language, helping members become proficient with practice. It's a place to meet new people, share interests, and apply what is learned to real-life scenarios, with skills that last for years.

Aquarium Club: Our club aims to teach members how to properly care for fish, solve fishkeeping problems, and enjoy the hobby. We share knowledge and guide newcomers in maintaining aquariums, ensuring all interactions are professional and respectful.

Bearcat Buddies Club: Bearcat Buddies encourages students to build friendships through meaningful interactions and inclusive events, fostering a shared sense of community.

Beekeeping: The Beekeeping Club aims to educate students about beekeeping through hands-on experience and studies. By learning about honeybees, native bees, and their importance, we hope to contribute to local ecosystem health and promote conservation.

Book Club

Commuter Club: The Commuter Club welcomes fellow commuters, offering opportunities to get involved, meet new people, and build a supportive community, creating a home away from home.

Cooking Club: The Cooking Club seeks to educate members in cooking beyond typical college dinners like take-out and ramen noodles. We strive to create a family sense of community and aid in the transition to adulthood, teaching students to cook cost-effective, tasty meals. As the club grows, we hope to attract members with diverse culinary backgrounds.

Esports: A club fostering community and fellowship for both competitive and casual gamers. It features competitive gaming teams for games like League of Legends, Rocket League, and Valorant, with team practices and competitions against other colleges. Casual elements include game nights, tournaments, and socials.

Multicultural Club: The Multicultural Club promotes learning World Languages and Cultures through language exchanges and cultural events. It offers opportunities to connect with other clubs and universities for cultural enrichment.

Outdoor Club: The Outdoors Club allows members to explore the unity of nature through various outdoor activities. It connects members to the peace and power of nature, promoting "Leave No Trace" ethics and a respectful relationship with the environment.

Respect Life Club: The Respect Life Club is committed to educating students about critical pro-life issues, including abortion, euthanasia, elder care, and human rights. We stand up for life through prayer, witness, on-campus education, service, and political action. We aspire to build a culture of life in our community, encouraging members to live a consistent ethic of life guided by respect and love for all people. The club welcomes members of all faiths, races, ages, and political orientations.

Strategic Gaming Society: The Strategic Gaming Club's goal is to build a community that fosters collaboration and creativity through tabletop games and activities, such as Dungeons & Dragons, Settlers of Catan, and Magic: The Gathering.
