The College is planning to host an in-person, outdoor commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 22 at 2 p.m. at Chuck Noll Field in the heart of the Saint Vincent campus. Additional details will be shared in the near future.
To comply with state directives on outdoor gatherings, each student will have the option to reserve two tickets for this year's ceremony. Additionally, all students and guests will be expected to comply with the College's Health and Safety Plan, including wearing a mask and practicing physical distancing.
Please note that unforeseen changes with the pandemic, including positivity rates, case counts and directives from the state, department of health and/or Centers for Disease Control, could force the College to alter plans for the ceremony.
Additional updates will be posted here, on the MySV Portal and shared via email with the Saint Vincent community throughout the spring.
Students can register for commencement using this link: https://www.eventsquid.com/event/12713. Students must use their SVC email account to register.
Questions related to Commencement should be directed to the Event and Conference Services Department at firstname.lastname@example.org or 724-532-5030.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are celebrating this year’s December commencement virtually. Bachelor’s and master’s degrees will be conferred to 118 students, while we will also individually recognize all 326 of our Spring 2020 bachelor’s and master’s degree recipients. We were happy to welcome Ms. Jeri Eckhart Queenan, former trustee of Saint Vincent College and Seminary and accomplished leader in the non-profit, government, private and public sectors, to deliver the commencement address.
During this ceremony, the names of all May, August and December graduates will be read and displayed on the screen, along with photos (if submitted).
A full program and the list of all graduates can be found at the link below. You can also view this ceremony on-demand on the Saint Vincent College YouTube channel.
Again, congratulations to the entire Class of 2020! We look forward to all that you will accomplish and to seeing you on campus in the future.
