Statement on the passing of Mrs. Joanne Rogers from Archabbot Martin de Porres Bartel, O.S.B., Chancellor, and Father Paul R. Taylor, O.S.B., President.

"We are deeply saddened by the passing of Joanne Rogers. Her love and unwavering support for her husband, Fred, and his legacy, her accomplishments as a classically trained concert pianist, and her commitment to spreading kindness and joy have left a remarkable impact on our neighborhood and our world. Their legacy will be perpetually preserved and advanced at Saint Vincent College through the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children's Media. We are grateful for the wonderful insights and dedication that Mrs. Rogers has provided to all of us these many years. Her contagious laugh, her friendship and most of all the love that she shared with us will be missed dearly. Our sympathy goes to her sons, family and friends as they remain in the prayers of our monastic and College communities."
