SVC student to intern with Lincoln Highway Experience

by Public Relations | January 11, 2022

LATROBE, PA – Senior Tyler Jacob Schuetz of White Oak is currently completing an internship for the duration of the spring 2022 semester with the Lincoln Highway Experience in Latrobe under the supervision of Spencer Simpson.

The Lincoln Highway Experience is part of the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor, and its mission is “to inspire others to travel the 200-mile Lincoln Highway in Pennsylvania” and learn about the road’s place in America’s history.

According to the Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor’s website, the corridor, located throughout the south-central part of the state, was designated as one of 12 special Heritage Areas in Pennsylvania in 1995. With its quirky supersized structures and scenic two-lane roads, the highway is reminiscent of how it looked in 1913, making it perfect for those who want to take a trip down the road of transportation history.

Mr. Schultz, the son of Lynette and John Schuetz, also both of White Oak, will be graduating in the spring with a Bachelor of Arts degree after completing a major in History and a minor in Public History.
