The 2023-24 academic year marks the 40th anniversary of Saint Vincent College becoming coeducational. In celebration, we will be recognizing women who have had a significant impact on Saint Vincent College in the fall 2023 issue of 1846: The Magazine of Saint Vincent College. We will identify 40 women with a variety of graduation years, backgrounds, academic programs, professional paths, community involvement, and experience to recognize in the upcoming issue. Our goal is to “recognize women--alumni, faculty, and staff, past and present--who have made an impact on Saint Vincent College.”
Candidates must have graduated from or worked at Saint Vincent College, and they must have demonstrated significant contributions to Saint Vincent, their community, and/or the country. Candidates will be selected based on the following:
1. Strong representation of the mission of Saint Vincent College:
2. Achievement and leadership in their field (including educational achievements, honors/awards, etc.)
3. Service to and impact on the College, both as an undergraduate and alumna
Also taken into consideration will be church/religious involvement, ethical/humanitarian efforts, and personal/family accomplishments.
Anyone is eligible to nominate someone for consideration, though one cannot nominate oneself. Please complete the entire form, providing as much information as possible, particularly as it pertains to the nominee’s contributions in the various categories listed above. Incomplete nominations will not be considered.
