SBDC Hosts "Brand: The Ultimate Communicator" March 25 in Fayette County

The Saint Vincent College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is offering the workshop,  Brand:  The Ultimate Communicator on Wednesday, March 25, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at  The First National Bank Business Event Center, 1040 Eberly Way, Suite 150,  Lemont Furnace, PA  15456.

This workshop is being provided to help business owners and employees understand the importance of brand identity. Attendees will gain insight into the relevance of identifying a company’s brand attributes, resonating the brand internally and ensuring brand continuity.

Dana Opar, marketing strategist/owner of Essential Marcom, is the presenter for the workshop.  Opar has more than 15 years’ experience as a marketing professional. Her experience began by overseeing a variety of projects at a AAA four-diamond resort, then grew exponentially during her tenure at a Pittsburgh-based marketing communications firm while working with national and international brands. In 2015, Opar formed Essential Marcom.  Her business is dedicated to helping small, local businesses define their brands, develop marketing plans, launch websites and harness the power of social media.  The fee for this workshop is $25, and lunch will be provided. This event is being co-sponsored by the Fay-Penn Economic Development Council.
