LATROBE, PA – Robert Markley, the Carpenter Technology – Latrobe Specialty Metals Sponsored Lecturer in Saint Vincent College’s Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics and Government, was a recent guest on Stellar One Consulting’s “Star Talks” podcast.
In the McKenna School’s Business Department, Markley teaches accounting information systems and management information systems, while he heads Saint Vincent College’s SAP Business One certification program.
On the podcast Markley discusses his professional background as a successful entrepreneur and management and technology consultant, how he made the transition to teaching, and the history and immense success of Saint Vincent’s SAP Business One program, which has directly led to 95 SVC students receiving internships and 56 being hired to full-time jobs within the SAP ecosystem.
Markley was introduced on the podcast by Kelsie Linden, C’19. Linden, who successfully completed Saint Vincent’s SAP Business One program, graduated in December with a degree in marketing and was immediately hired to a full-time position at Stellar One as a pre-sales and marketing specialist.
